Fort William is a magnificent town that can be found in the north-western corner of Scotland if you travel in that direction.
It is considered a gateway to Ben Nevis, which is the highest peak in the United Kingdom, and is located in the western Scottish Highlands on the banks of Loch Linnhe. Fort William may be found in the Scottish Highlands. King William III was honoured with the naming of the fort. Maryburgh was named after his wife, who gave her name to the town.
