Drumnadrochit offers a great location whether you are looking for an investment property to let for holiday stays or a family home. It was here that the infamous beast known as "Nessy" was born.

Living Working & Investing In Drumnadrochit.

This village is located on the road that leads from Fort William to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, close to the shore of Loch Ness. The A82 is a trunk route that serves the West Highlands of Scotland, and along this route you will find sections of road that were first built around the 1750s.
You can take a stroll by the River Ness and around St. Andrew's Cathedral, the northernmost cathedral in mainland Britain, visit the castle & Inverness Old Town, museum, historic buildings, the Eden Court theatre, the botanic Gardens, and Ness islands beautiful at Christmas when lit up for Santa. Inverness is the largest city and the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. It is located on the banks of the River Ness, which eventually empties into the Moray Firth.

The village serves as an excellent starting point for excursions into this extremely popular region and the areas that surround it. It is also a portal to well-known tourist hotspots like as the North Carolina 500, the Isle of Skye, and the Speyside whisky region. You may go on a trek along the Glen Urquhart path, check out the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre, climb Ben Nevis, which is the highest point in Great Britain, and ski at the Nevis Range resort, among other things. The Glencoe Village serves as the jumping-off point for many hikes suited to varying levels of physical ability, as well as the Glenfinnan railway, which draws a large number of Harry Potter fans from all over the world; Loch Shiel; the many waterfalls at impressive heights; the beaches of natural beauty; the botanical gardens at inverewe; and much, much more to see and do.
Embark on a journey through the murky depths of Loch Ness on the Caledonian Canal Cruise from Dochgarroch, a sightseeing cruise departing from Inverness, and do your best to keep an eye out for the legendary creature that is said to inhabit the loch.
The Glen Affric National Nature Reserve and the Corrimony RSPB Nature Reserve, both located in this area of great natural beauty, are right outside your front door, making them convenient for nature lovers who are interested in exploring the Highlands and their expansive landscapes. Backpacking, strolling, bird watching, spotting wild animals, photography of any form, rambling, hillwalking, off-road cycling and mountain biking horse riding, a copious quantity of river and loch fishing to be had are some of the activities that may be enjoyed here.
A village green with picnic chairs can be found in the centre of the Village, in addition to Ness Delhi, local taverns and restaurants, and a local supermarket. The community features a High school, an infant school, and a middle school. Additionally, the village has good road connectivity to Inverness, the airport, and the train station, all of which provide connections throughout Europe and beyond. This is also an excellent central touring base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. Here you will find the ruins of a mediaeval castle called Urquhart, which has a bloody history and was built sometime between 1200 and 1600. The views from the ruins of the castle over Loch Ness are breathtaking (worth checking out.)
On the road to Sky from Drumnadrochit, the Eilean Donan castle may be reached by car in around sixty minutes.
