Family skiers make up a large portion of Soll's clientele. With good snow, Soll is great for a lively holiday spent bashing undemanding pistes in pretty scenery - at modest cost. At least everything (except the skiing) is readily to hand, and new buildings have been designed to look traditional. The pretty surrounding scenery adds to its charm, and the village benefits from being some way off the busy main road.
