Cabanas is situated in the Eastern Algarve which enjoys 3000 hours of sunshine each year It is a traditional unspoiled fishing village situated within the Ria Formosa National Park with its,s abundance of wildlife .It boasts a beautiful long golden sandy beach which is accessed via a 2 min boat ride from the village center ( the boat runs every 5 minutes)

A 2 min walk from the apartment will bring you to the village center with its range of amenities these include Supermarkets ,florist , butchers , bakers , chemist , car hire , bank , laundry & various other shops There are numerous good value restaurant & bars dotted around the village & within the apartment complex There is also a local produce fish market in the village There is a health care center in the village The railway is a short distance away with regular services from Faro to Villa real de santo antonio . The train will also take you to Lisbon Via Faro or to the many beaches & attractions in the western Algarve Cabanas also has an aqua taxi which will take you to Tavira. Ilah de Tavira & various other islands & secluded beaches in the eastern Algarve

Cabanas is an ideal location for a relaxing family holiday or for the more adventurous an ideal base for sightseeing , birdwtching or cycling , walking and golfing holiday
