A five-bedroom farmhouse with 3 acres and private pool in the heart of the Perigord tastefully restored in local style but with all modern conveniences such as gas central heating.
Sleeping up to 10 persons in comfort set in the picturesque Couze valley this property is within an hours drive of all the Dordogne’s main attractions and the Bastide towns of Beaumont and La Linda only 5km away with Bergerac airport only 20 minutes drive, Ryan Air & Flybe
The property consists of 2 spacious comfortable lounges one with large log fire (winter only) TV/video & DVD, Hi Fi a huge dinning room oak dinning table seating up to 12, two bathrooms and two toilets, two large double bedrooms, a large twin with original (500 year old original fireplace), a children’s bedroom with a full toy box and a huge fifth bedroom (family room) with double and single beds & cots. There is mains gas central heating throughout and constant hot water. The property is excellent for winter use. Fully equipped kitchen with large cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, mini oven, and coffee maker etc., and ample seating room with a farmhouse table and chairs. Outside there are three large patios, BBQ 8-m pool and solar shower, two large six seater tables and parasols and plenty of pool loungers with parking for five cars. The pool is lit at night secured with gates and there are lockable gates to keep the kids safe on the driveway and gardens. Lots of shade in the garden, there is a walnut grove and 3 acres to the rear for football and other sports. All gas, water & electricity included, towel and linen service is available. Plus free pool cleaning. Maid service and end of stay cleaning available. Logs for winter use can be provided.
There are many local restaurants and the village has its own pizza/tabac & bar a short walk, as well as fishing in the Couze, local horse riding, golf canoeing etc. The key holder has her own nearby restaurant serving home produce excellent local produce.
All rentals are priced weekly but long weekends available out of high season for as little as £250.
A 25% discount is required on booking with final payment 8 weeks prior to holiday start date and a returnable £200 (300 euro) breakage, excessive cleaning is also payable and inventory provided.
There is a free pool cleaning and garden tending service logs for winter use can be provided for a fee, there is a cot, high chair and dogs & cats welcome, though not on beds & sofas.
