Loire et Cher dominated by the legendary and breath taking river Loire with the natural splendours abound in the valleys of the Loire it runs through the region's major towns of Tours, Blois and Orléans, and is known as France’s longest River. This area is accessible from Paris, thanks to numerous auto-routes and the  high-speed train, which makes its Paris-to-Tours run in only 50 minutes, from early spring to late autumn.

The famous castles and many chateaux of the Loire valley can be found here home along with two of France's great cathedrals, at Bourges witch contains some of the best examples of stained glass in France,  The region is also awash with many diverse and delicate flowers attracting botanists the world over. The valley of the Loire produces 22 fine wines, and excellent cheeses well worth the tasting.
