You may go to Tenerife for the sun, but you can not ignore Mount Teide a snow capped volcano dominating the sky of Tenerife at 3,700m high it is the highest peak in Spain.

The island of Tenerife is one of two climates caused in the main by the presence of Mount Teide which effectively splits the island in two.
