Hérault in France it boarders Aude, Aveyron, Gard, the Mediterranean Sea on the south coast and Tarn, The source of the River Herault is at the top of Mont Aigoual, a wonderful viewpoint in the Cévennes. The river flows through semi-mountainous country, creating magnificent beaches of fine sand and pebbles.

The towns and villages have lots of good restaurants to try! and fabulous cafés and restaurants, for the sporting type there is every water-sport imaginable.
There is a wide choice of sandy beaches to choose from. For music lovers there are a series of local festivals in the area throughout the summer, there is something here for everyone in one of France's most unspoilt regions.
